D: Why isn’t Aidan coming to play at Daniel’s house?
Me: Because Aidan and his mum and dad get tired and go to bed very early at the moment.
D: Why do they get tired?
Me: Because Aidan’s new little sister isn’t sleeping very well at night.
D: Why isn’t she sleeping very well?
Me: I don’t know – it might be something to do with her coming out of her mummy’s tummy too early. Maybe her body wasn’t quite ready to come out and is trying to get used to being outside of her mummy’s tummy. She might be doing a lot of growing at the moment.
D: Has she got a skeleton?
Me: Yes.
D: Do you know – dogs have skeletons too… but they’re DOG shaped?!

It’s a skeleton. We made them at school when we were learning about our bodies. It’s not for hanging up – it’s a toy. You can make him dance! He’s called Fred.
