Sing!
July 20, 2013
Boy: I remembered one of the other songs we sang in the playground today – not Over The Rainbow or Doe a Deer. I don’t know what it’s called though – shall I sing it to you?
Mum: Yes, go on!
Boy: [sings]
Every day, we learn and play,
Finding ways to get along,
Finding out what life’s about,
Everybody moving on!
That’s all I can remember.

Son: The sky doesn’t look very good outside.
Mum: Yes – sunny but cloudy.
Son: Sun and rain always makes a rainbow! And there’s treasure at the end of rainbows. Have you ever seen the treasure mum? Have you got a picture?
Mum: No I haven’t.
Son: Yeah, the rainbow always moves – it goes away before you get to it to find the treasure. Some people at my school say , if you get too close to a rainbow, it moves to a different country!

Axeman – Mar 2013
D: They’re all bits of rainbow, those coloured lines. That’s Axeman up there in the corner, because he’s got a head shaped like an axe and he’s a baddie.
They’re two children who are saying: “You can’t defeat us!” Because they have those orange things, which are boxing shoes – they’re metal and they can kick right through anything – even if it’s metal. That boy’s pressing a button on his boxing shoes and they’re kicking Axeman.
They’ve also got electricity for senses and the electricity is going all around Axeman and he goes down and is never seen again!

Mummy – Oct 2012
D: That’s you. There’s sun and there’s rain, so there’s a rainbow [centre, just beneath the sun] and that’s the path to the end of the rainbow.
