A real changing chameleon
July 13, 2013

changedchameleonA REAL CHANGING CHAMELEON

It’s a chameleon, but I’m a bit disappointed because its tail’s changed – I didn’t paint a purple tail. I painted all different colours in that curly bit. And I painted its sides red and white like a candy cane. And I gave it a red head. And I didn’t paint its feet all multi-coloured. It’s changed colours!

Giraffe

D: It’s a giraffe.

Me: It’s very colourful.

D: Yes. But looking at it it’s really good. That bit’s really colourful. That one’s like blood going into your body and going in to the yellow dots. That one there’s very spotty. That bit there’s all joined up together.

Diwali, Festival of Light – Nov 2012

D: It’s what we’re learning about at school. It’s a God thing.

Me: What sort of God thing?

D: I can’t remember – it starts with ‘V’. [Diwali]

Me: Who is it a picture of?

D: I copied it from a picture that had lots of gods in it. It’s the blue one. I can’t remember which one he’s called… [Krishna]
