Inclusive v’s exclusive?

D: Mummy, who’s my daughter?
Me: You haven’t got a daughter, you’re too small.
D: How can I get a daughter when I’m big?
Me: You find a girl you like and want to be friends with forever and you make a baby together and if it’s a girl it will be your daughter.
D: Well I already have 3 girls I like and want to be friends with forever – Sophie, Lucy and Fibi-May.
Me: That’s nice. You’ll have to see if you’re still friends when you’re grown up, but you can only choose one to have a baby with.
D: Well I would like to stay with Fibi-May forever …and ever …and ever.
